Finalizing my move

Finally got my template to look halfway decent. I know, this looks almost like my Blogger template, but let me say this: I built this template from scratch, using CSS commands. Of course, a Typepad troubleshooting rep helped some, but I did most of the hard labor. Improving as I go along.

Had a problem importing all my posts from Blogger. Blogger refuses to display all posts, so I had to play with jump breaks. That's why my old blog now looks weird. And since I had to strip all formatting before transferring, I now have to repair the paragraphing of all 112 posts. Bummer.

Oh. The links no longer work, even though they're displayed in blue. So, don't bother clicking on anything.

I hope moving to a paid blog host wasn't a bad decision.

Into the Rain (Published at KAP, now dead)

Thunder rumbled overhead. Usually I would count the gap till lightning struck, but not this time. I was busy praying I wasn't too late.

 

I bounded up the narrow stairwell two steps at a time. I held on to the banister, fully aware of the filth and grime that were beginning to coat my palm with a thickening layer of slime. Not that I had much choice. Raindrops pelted at me like an endless wave of angry insects, limiting my vision and making my steps treacherous. I'd already lost count on the times I almost slipped. Above the din of the building storm, I could hear my heartbeat. I could even feel it in my fingertips.

 

Please. Don't let me be too late.
